Ο δρόμος των αιολικών χαράχθηκε δίπλα στην αρχαία ακρόπολη των Στύρων και σε παλαιότατες ξερολιθικές κατασκευές , ενώ οι ανεμογεννήτριες μιαίνουν, υποβαθμίζουν και εν τέλει καταστρέφουν ανεπιστρεπτί τόσο φυσικό όσο και το πολιτισμικού Περιβάλλον της Εύβοιας – και όχι μόνον.
Και τα χειρότερα έπονται.
This is the third part of our road trip to the wind farms of southern Evia, Greece, with photos and videos from the ground as well as from the air. Akhladotopos, September, 2021.
The wind farm access road was cut right next to the ancient acropolis of Styra and also next to very old dry-stone constructions of archaeological values, while the wind turbines degrade and ultimately irreversibly destroy both the natural and the cultural Environment of Evia – and Greece in general, as is painfully visible.
Some of the narration is in English, some in Greek: this might explain why you might not understand half of what is being said.
And the worst has still to come.
